Rabbit’s innovative Energy from Waste plant was featured in the Sunday Times on December 19th 2010.
The extensive article features an interview with Greg Blurton who set up the facility with his sister Mandy Bridson in response to their growing concerns about how much waste was ending up in landfills. The new facility – a small Energy recovery Facility which turns household waste into electricity – opened in Lancing 12 months ago and is capable of converting an average skip’s worth of rubbish into enough energy to power a regular-sized house for three weeks.
Having such an extensive and prominent article in a national newspaper is testament to the growing interest in Energy from Waste conversion and in the part which Rabbit have played in its development.
